The blue tones are lovely :) It's too messy in some parts (I don't understand the purpose of the text with "your way to gfx, way to your gfx....", it's messy due to the words you've put in front of it).
The "gfx artist" text looks pixelated.
Why did you add balls? I think that it would fit a sport website better ;)

+5/10

I agree with Diane, the balls are nicely rendered but what do they have to do with the text? Also the glowy style of your dividers doesn't work with the clean cut text . You seem to be missing a concept behind this design, something which could unify the design more, the elements currently are too unrelated.

all the text I dont like then you have text on top of text
to much
also this would be for this GFX?
why the sports balls?
this site has nothing to do with sports unless you hang out in the say what lol
but if you changed the text to something saying about sports it would be good

the balls and what not and reflection is nice tho :)

Nice job, my friend! :)
I have nothing to add that KittyKat, Diane, and Blacklaser hasn't already covered, so I'm just going to say that I like the blue. It's nice and bright. The balls are well suited to the color you chose (if not to the general feel of GFX). And I do like the crosshair. It feels very 'cool & sporty' overall.

Actually - while initially the balls were confusing, I think i see what they were aiming for :

GFX artist - play ball. Like as in, creating is fun, but also a passion and a game. ( perhaps ? )

but what would have made this more successful ( besides the typography everyone and their mother have already mentioned ) is if instead of saying : GFXARTIST - HERES SOME BALLS

you could have illuded to the : GFXARTIST - THIS IS WHAT WE PLAY -- while incorporating the useage of the ball graphics with something in the digital art realm.

Like, maybe soccer players playing on a field that is a scanner, and the two goals are like a camera and a wacom tablet ?

just a suggestion

Technically : I like the clarity of the graphic work. But i loath the typography used. But overall it is still a balanced design.

Just a tip:
When dealing with already branded material, plan to use elements that already exist so as to add familiarity and not alienate a familar viewer.

In this case you could have used the familar G part of the logo, or the color scheme...

i agree with the majority about the text, but the lower right portion itself is gorgeous. the blue lighting on the balls is great. your thumbnail preview of this image is enough for a +7 from me :)
